I've written about a dozen screenplays. I used to have a Beverly Hills agent who tried to sell them for me. She was always setting up meetings. "Let's go have lunch with (insert name of famous director or producer here)," she'd say. I'd get very nervous. I'd try to imagine seeing my famous lunch dates in their underwear, to set my mind at ease, but I always ended up imagining myself in my own underwear instead. Photography has been kinder to me. When I'm behind the camera and I feel the need to see someone in their underwear now, all I have to do is ask. They'll usually strip right down for me. Black negligeés seem to be especially popular.
